A dual fixture handed bench for front and rear door panel assembly, in this instance a second fixture bench was provided for the opposing hand.

Interfacing with to the customers existing Sorion information screen and retaining the existing assembly fixture tooling, Deprag screwdrivers, bar code scanners and hand held welding equipment.

The two assembly fixtures are mounted onto manual rotary tables, to allow the operator to move the fixture to insert parts as required. Manual part clamping ensure it cannot be removed until correct assembly has been carried out.

Sensors verify the correct location and correct option has been inserted to include:

• Part in place.
• Inset panel in door.
• R elease Handle.
• Outer Grab Handle.
• Clip.
• Badge location & colour.
• Puddle lamp in place & orientation .
• Tweeter in position & colour
• Speaker name & mirror type
